There are those times when I go window shopping and am tempted to purchase a pillow I like.

Here is the thing, pillows just make my nights. When am sad and lonely my pillows soothe me, I feel nice?

Now, putting that aside, there are a number of reasons as to why I use pillows.

First, pillows offer support to my neck, I hate neck pains.

I mean waking up in the morning and my neck is stiff is a deal breaker for the day, besides my pillows, make my bed and bedroom as a whole look comfortable after a long day, my bedroom is I run.

A bedroom as part of a house is supposed to be the quietest, comfortable place.

Who does not like pillow fights?

No, seriously.

I don’t just buy pillows for sleeping.

Once in a while, I have friends visiting and some like pillow fights just for fun, both inside the house and even outdoors at a picnic.

What is your sleeping position?

There are those who are comfortable sleeping on their back while others on their side. I sleep in both positions.

When am sleepy I really can’t dictate my body to sleep in a given position?

So side pillows are important. Before I became a pillow fun, I really didn’t care about the type of pillow I bought. I ended up using my normal pillow as a side pillow.

You can guess what happened.

It was uncomfortable thus prevented me from enjoying sleeping on my side.

The pillow was ruined as time went by.

It looked shapeless.

That is why I decided to have a date at my favorite store just for a side pillow.

What do I look at when buying best pillows for side sleepers?

The most obvious factor to keep in mind when shopping is the size of the pillow. It should be comfortable to hold.

The pillow should not be ‘hard’. By this, I mean the material stuffed inside the pillow case.

There was a time when I woke up and my neck was aching so badly because of the ‘hard’ the pillow.

Side pillows have pros which include the fact that they are comfortable for those who sleep on their side.

The cons include them not being useful if I want to sleep on my back but am sure the pros outshine the cons.
